Installing Add-Ons

IMPORTANT:  The CORE WP RSS Aggregator plugin must be installed and activated before any of the add-ons are installed and activated.

When you purchase one of the add-ons, you will receive an email with a link to download the compressed file containing the add-on. You can also access these download links at any time from your WP RSS Aggregator account.

Installing an add-on is very simple and there are two main methods.

Watch the tutorial video here, or follow the instructions beneath it.

Go to the Install Plugins page within your WordPress dashboard.

Click Upload Plugin.

Click Choose File and select the .zip file you have downloaded from your email receipt.

Click Install Now. WordPress will now install the add-on.

Once it’s installed, click the Activate Plugin link.

Congratulations, your add-on is installed and ready to use!

The second method is by using an FTP client such as FileZilla. Use this method only if instructed to by our support team.

Here’s the whole process:

  1. Download the zip file containing the add-on and extract it to a new folder on your desktop.
  2. Connect to your website using your FTP client (ex. FileZilla).
  3. Once connected, go to your website’s plugins folder, usually located within public_html/wp-content/plugins.
  4. Next, locate the plugin’s file you extracted on your computer.
  5. Upload the file from your computer to your plugins folder.
  6. During the update process, choose to Overwrite the files.

Congratulations, your add-on is installed and ready to use!

If you encounter an error while installing the add-ons, which usually only happens when you install an add-on without first installing the CORE plugin, please take a look at the page below:

Once an add-on is installed, you must activate its license key to benefit from automatic updates and support.
